I am so excited to be going back to HHN Orlando for the second time this October 2nd with my daughter! We loved it so much last year that we want to make this an annual event. We are just flying in the night before and flying out the next night. I splurged and got express passes this time. We are also staying in Dockside Inn for the first time.
Last year, we did early entry on the last Wednesday of September. We did 9 houses together before close. She did the last house while I saw the Nightmare Fuel show. So, overall we did pretty good. We also visited all scare zones and ate dinner while waiting in a line.
This year, I want to be able to spend more time enjoying the atmosphere and snacking.
I am also curious of the 'inside baseball' of the event you just went to. Is this event only for journalists and influencers? Is it busy or is it relatively quick to go through? Do you get to do a house multiple times? Have you ever gone back in a season to see if anything has been tweaked or changed?
HHN was open to the public, but the journalists invited to Universal's media event got to go on the "RIP Tours." We also were allowed to capture content in the houses. Yes, we went through some houses more than once. But I believe anybody on an RIP Tour could do that as well. I have not gone back later in a season, but I have taken the daytime lights-on tour of the houses, which is fascinating.
