My husband and I spent *hours* in Omega Mart during our visit a couple of years ago. We did the full story, and we had so much fun. Last year, we made the trek to Denver to visit Convergence Station, which we also enjoyed, but not quite as much as Omega Mart. We're planning to visit the other locations in the future with our themed-experience-loving friends!
I loved this article, Arthur! Two questions: Is there a charge to get into Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, and is this one of the few venues in Las Vegas that doesn't have slot machines ringing throughout?
Yes, there is a charge. Omega Mart is one of the anchor attractions at Area51, a huge entertainment complex off the Strip that’s filled with intriguing attractions (including Universal’s new Horror Unleashed that I recently reviewed). There are no slot machines or any gambling at Area51.
I’ve always wanted to experience this, and you’ve done a good job peeking my interest without revealing too much! And bonus points for the (I assume) Clash reference in the title of the article!
My wife and I visited the (original?) one in Santa Fe two years ago, and it was interesting and hard to explain to people. We enjoyed it, but did not delve very far into the story.

I can see that it would be easy to spend hours there. There are so many layers. Glad you had fun!

Unfortunately, I didn’t leave Omega Mart with a guaranteed personality.

Yes, House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe was the first Meow Wolf location. It IS hard to explain. I hope I did Omega Mart justice in my article.
Yes, I appreciated the summary and photos. It makes me want visit this one now!
