Zambezi Zinger was one of my most beloved coasters for its sheer fun factor. Far from a white knuckle ride, it provided an exciting sense of speed and anticipation as it meandered through the wooded area, culminating in a high speed tunnel finale, all while being unencumbered by restraints. While I was certainly sad to see it go, I’m thoroughly excited for the new version and I’m certain that GCI and Worlds of Fun have designed it to be a wonderful experience!
By the way, I have had the opportunity to ride Whizzer also and love that it is still in operation in the US, but ZZ was my favorite of the two. Thanks for your article! I think Worlds of Fun deserves a little more positive attention than it tends to receive.
