The Boardwalk area is going to be a grand addition to Cedar Point...no matter what the Coaster Boys say! It’s another small step towards CP upping its theming and atmosphere. And all the Cedar Fair food additions in the past five years or so have been great - I’m thinking of the new barbecue restaurants they’ve added to their parks - so I have high hopes for this restaurant.
It's understandable that enthusiasts would want want parks to introduce a new, record-breaking, kick-ass coaster (or 2!) every year. But it's not sustainable, nor is it what's best for the parks. They need a mix of rides to appeal to a broad audience and keep their turnstiles clicking. Ultimately, it's what best for coaster boys too, because healthy parks will deliver kick-ass coasters.
I wish I could have ridden that one! I had to look this up - I was thinking of Wildcat, a wild mouse style ride that, based on this Wikipedia writeup, appears to have closed after the 2011 season. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/WildCat_(Cedar_Point)

And besides, who doesn't love a good Wild Mouse every now and again? (Although I'm not sure about the spinning part.)
I agree! The last time I visited was some time ago, but there was a wild mouse there and I enjoyed it! Did that get removed at some point?
You were there a real long time ago! The original Wild Mouse opened in 1959 and closed in 1963.

Ah! Well, you can't ride either of those. But the new Wild Mouse should be similar (except for the spinning cars).
