My expectations for this attraction were pretty low since I'm not a fan of the way Disney is forcing IP into EPCOT, but after reading your review I'm excited to give it a chance when I visit Walt Disney World this summer.

It'll be funny seeing Chris Pratt both on this attraction and on Velocicoaster at Islands of Adventure.

I hear you on the evolution of Epcot. But I think Disney has done a commendable job retrofitting the Marvel attraction into the park and conforming to Epcot’s vibe. Let's face it: The park that opened in the 1980s was NOT the “original” Epcot as envisioned by Walt. (And that gets referenced in Cosmic Rewind as well.)

I just miss the days of 80s and 90s Epcot when attractions were more than 3-5 minute experiences where you move fast past projection screens and flashing lights. World of Motion, Horizons, Universe of Energy and Journey into Imagination were each unique, distinct attractions that didn't need to rely on IP or thrills. They were long enough to totally envelope guests bringing you into an experience that lasted so long you forgot you were on a theme park ride. Riders truly were taken to another world or another time.

Arthur, you know that I love roller coasters as much as almost anyone and I know that theme parks can't become museums, but I want Epcot to be a place that's different.

I know, I know. But the reality is that there weren't a heckuva lotta people checking out the dinos on Universe of Energy in its later years. And Epcot is still different-ish.
