Ready for another “Rode It! Loved It!” (my reviews of established attractions that are exclusively for paid subscribers)? Let’s head over to the Hall of Justice (which can be found at multiple Six Flags parks) and check out the Universal-ish Battle for Metropolis attractions. You are not a paid subscriber? Please consider upgrading lest I sic the Joker and his laughing gas cannon on you. Have you noticed there are no ads of any kind at About Theme Parks? Paid subscriptions are my only source of income here. Paid subscribers receive exclusive bonus content such as my “Rode It! Loved It!” reviews as well as the ability to post comments. Why not join this illustrious group–ATP’s very own Justice League–today?

Six Flags knows coasters and thrill rides. Sophisticated, media-based, story-driven dark rides? That’s more the province of the destination Universal and Disney parks. Yet, Justice League: Battle for Metropolis brings a Universal-style attraction to Six Flags parks. The ride is a gas (courtesy of The Joker). Is it Universal-level quality? Almost.
