I definitely have a fondness for vintage rides. Sometimes, it makes sense for a ride to go or to be reimagined somehow. Other times, it's a loss. I consider my 'home park' to be Cedar Point, and I grew up going there a couple times a year, even though it's a few hours away. My husband's favorite ride was Mean Streak, and he was nervous about the project with RMC. However, Steel Vengeance completely won him over, and he now considers that his favorite ride.
For me, I LOVED the Witches Wheel. It was such a chill ride in a nice little corner of the park, and I remember my mom loving the ride when I was little. When they shut the ride down in 2018, I was bummed, but didn't think too much of it, honestly. However, as time has gone on, I find myself more sad and wistful that it's not there, and I really wish they would have kept it.
