Arthur, when my family and I went to SFGA about 5 years ago in the summer, we had a guided tour on a truck for the safari. I remember stopping and feeding the giraffes ice cream cones! Did SF change it some way and are now bringing it back?
For many years it was a drive-thru experience. Then the park changed it to the guided tour you remember. During the pandemic, it reverted to the you-drive-yourself safari. Now, it’s changing back to the guided experience.
Hopefully Great Adventure will not take any shortcuts like they did with Kinda Ka. The workers who built it would not ride it & that's why it keeps breaking down. Look what happened with El Toro the last 2 years.
