Kings Island does a really nice job with their Winterfest event. Our family typically goes 1-2x each year. Riding Mystic Timbers when it's 35F is super fun, but a bit chilly! :)
Great to see CW adding Sledge Hammer and Pysclone to the WinterFest lineup. They do an incredible job with this event and seeing it grow makes me so happy! I didn't visit the park at all this summer, despite having a pass, but I will be going to WinterFest, which is a visit pattern I would never have imagined a few years ago. More indoor attractions would still be welcome...why not use a warehouse-type space for an "immersive X" projection based walk through? Like the immersive Van Gogh, but WinterFest themed?
Your suggestion sounds like a great one. And I'm totally with you on more indoor programming. But CW and the other CF parks are really offering at WinterFest more or less what they offer the rest of the year. That was the point of my article: Despite the cold, people crave rides and typical theme park fun.

“A bit” chilly?
🤣 Honestly if you wear a hat, coat, and gloves only your face gets cold on the roller coasters! It's not so bad.
I went to Kings Island's Winterfest a few times as a kid. I hope to make my return with my family this December.
It gets pretty cold in Ohio in December as well! Have fun.
